Pillar Guide
Integrated Litigation Management
Integrated litigation management is the end-to-end handling of a legal claim as one process: evaluation, underwriting, funding, advocate deployment, active monitoring, enforcement and recovery. It differs from pure funding, where money is provided but the conduct of the matter is left entirely to the claimant.
Executive Summary
Money alone does not win cases. Claims fail through missed hearings, drifting strategy, weak documentation and stalled enforcement, operational failures, not legal ones.
Fund My Case deploys funding inside a managed process: matters proceed through empanelled, independent advocates, progress is monitored against plan, and the matter is pursued through enforcement until value is actually recovered.
The integrated execution model
- 1
Evaluate
Structured claim assessment across merits, documentation, counterparty and enforcement route.
- 2
Underwrite
Commercial discipline: is the expected recovery proportionate to cost, time and risk?
- 3
Fund
Costs are covered for eligible matters on a non-recourse basis.
- 4
Deploy advocates
Independent, empanelled advocates run the matter, with continuity and accountability.
- 5
Manage & monitor
Hearings, filings, timelines and strategy tracked end-to-end.
- 6
Enforce
Decrees and awards are executed against assets, the step most claimants underestimate.
- 7
Recover
The process ends at recovered value, not at a paper judgment.
Pure funding vs integrated management
| Funding only | Integrated litigation management | |
|---|---|---|
| What you receive | Money for costs | Funding plus a managed legal process |
| Advocates | You find and manage them | Empanelled network, independence preserved |
| Progress visibility | Yours to chase | Monitored and reported |
| Enforcement | Your problem after judgment | Planned from day one |
| Outcome focus | Case funded | Value recovered |
When integrated management matters most
- You lack in-house legal bandwidth to run a multi-year matter
- The dispute spans multiple forums or connected matters
- Enforcement against assets will be the real battle
- You need predictable reporting for board or family stakeholders
- Prior counsel changes have already cost time and coherence
Frequently asked questions
Does management mean the funder controls my case? ▾
No. Legal services are provided by independent advocates and key decisions remain with the claimant. Management refers to process discipline, monitoring, coordination and continuity.
Who are the advocates on the matter? ▾
Independent advocates empanelled with Fund My Case, selected for the forum and subject matter, operating under professional conduct rules.
What does monitoring actually include? ▾
Tracking hearings and filings, adherence to strategy, documentation discipline, and escalation when a matter drifts.
Why does enforcement need planning? ▾
Because a decree is not cash. Identifying assets, choosing execution routes and sustaining pressure is where recoveries are actually made.
